JEEVES IS NO MORE!!!!

Jeeves is gone. My favorite butler. Gone. Forever. No longer can I Ask Jeeves a question, and get an answer from my friendly butler. It is now just Ask.com. No more Jeeves. Not even on Ask Jeeves for Kids, which is now known as Ask for Kids. I am devastated. I loved Jeeves. He was the first search engine that I used and loved.

R.I.P, Jeeves. You were always a great butler. You will be missed.

The MPAA filed lawsuits against Torrentspy, Isohunt, Torrentbox, Niteshadow and Bthub. This could have a huge impact on the Bittorrent community since Torrentspy and Isohunt are two of the most frequently visited torrent sites.

Cool Stuff

All right. I feel like telling everyone about cool stuff. So here goes.

An awesomely funny song is “Tru Gangster” by Nice Peter. I just can’t keep a straight face while listening to this song, it really just cracks me up. It’s available free and legally from their website, at http://nicepeter.com just go to their MP3 section. I’m sure you can find it if you try hard enough. (yes, i had to pimp them YET again)

Next, we have a cool movie about the making and history of Linux. It’s called Revolution OS, and it’s really cool. I just saw it, so yay. Just go out and buy it or find it from somewhere (*cough* BitTorrent *cough*). I like Linus Torvalds. He seems really cool.

In yet ANOTHER unrealated category, we have another movie that I automagically found, “Bowling for Columbine” by Micheal Moore. I LURVE Michael Moore. He is AWESOME. And this documentary about gun control and why America has such a high gun-related murder rate and whatnot is SO GOOD. It even has Marilyn Manson and Matt Stone in it, so you’ve GOTTA love it. And, I’m very interested in things related to the Columbine High School tragedy, and the footage in there, as well as the interviews, really interested me.

Then, in a related category, we have another movie, acquired in the same fashion, called “Fahrenheit 9-11″. Yes, another movie by Michael Moore. But seriously, I LURVE this guy and his movies and how he thinks. And anything even remotely Bush-Bashing gets me going. So there we go.

What else…. uh….

That movie “SuperSize Me” from that guy, Morgan Spurlock (I think that’s his name…) is also an awesome movie. I’ve only eaten McDonald’s like 3 times since I’ve first seen that movie about a year and a half ago. Great documentary. We watched it in health class like a week ago. Much coolness.

Anything else….

I will now include a picture of me licking my PSP. And yes, that is an eMac box in the background. And yes, that is what looks like Windows on my PSP. It’s just a background picture though, but it is still much. much coolness.

Okay, when I saw this, I immeadiately thought ‘The Jaguar Controller. That’s the worst. It must be on the list’ because it sucks!! Of course, I didn’t think it would be, so i was reading on, and sure enough, number one is the Jaguar Controller.

Oh, and how does a suck-ass-gamer like myself know anything at all about the Jaguar? My crazy-ass-cousin John has one, and I played it a couple months ago.

So, Things We Know…

I like piercings. And I like being bored.

I blame the whole piercing thing on a google image search and bodymod.org

anyways, the piercing’s looking good. meaning, it hasn’t gotten infected and killed me.

I don’t know why, but I am EXTREMELY proud of this piercing. It’s my favorite of all that I’ve ever done. And I hate that most people would think it’s insane, because I think it’s completely awesome. This’ll probably be the only piercing, however, that I will have that’s in an odd place. The other’s I want are eyebrow, and maybe lip. And that’s it. And perhaps more on my ears, but that’s not much.

 Ahh, now to write a bogus history paper and not do my geometery homework and get a detention, which I already notfied my dad that I’m probably doing that.

 

EDIT: Oh! And Pelican emailed me back. Their method of getting the controller to connect to the receiver worked. Now my wireless PINK PS2 controller works!! Yay!!!!
