I use Trillian, not AIM/Yahoo/MSN/etc.’s own interefaces and programs. I was shocked when I realized I get a LOT of IM spam.

Now, let me tell you a few things: I know this only happens to my AIM accounts. I have 2 AIM accounts, one from AOL, which works as an AOL screenname and everything. Basically, we payed for it. (AdrenalynKittie). Also, I have a regular AIM one, that is just used for normal IMing. (MicrosoftBabe). I don’t go on AOL anymore, but I still use the AIM name that came with the account. Make sense? I hope so.

Now, admittedly, I have had the AOL screenname longer than the AIM name. So, this might have contributed. But i doubt it.

This is what most of the IM spam messages are like:

Looking for love? There are 4563 females and 4324 males in your area looking for a date tonight!

Whenever I get these messages, I first warn them, then I block them.

Since both AOL and AIM keep track of the blocked screennames, and I was curious as to what was going on, I decided to check the lists of blocked screennames on my names.

The results?

AOL: Too many blocked screennames to count.

AIM: 4. And all of them were just people that I know that I don’t want to talk to.

I have concluded that SOMETHING in AOL has given my AOL screenname out to spammers.

Yet another ANOTHER another reason why AOL is VERY VERY evil.

…and notice how this didn’t happen with the free one! Oh NO! It happened with the one we PAID FOR!

I. Love. Mrs. Arcaro.

She is my Italian teacher, and might I say, she kicks major, and i mean MAJOR, ass.

She was redoing the seating chart for my Italian class, and I was sad that I had to be moved away from Zach. So, I said goodbye to Zach, and waited while she told us who was being seated where.

She said “Okay, I just can’t bear to seperate these two… Staci and Zach.” and she pointed to our seats, which were next to each other, again. “Zach needs Staci, Staci needs Zach, and it’s like that” she was saying. Dude, I could’ve kissed her. She gets the lifetime acheivement award for bein a super duper nice teacher, and that award cannot be rovoked, except under extreme circumstances.

And Zach has been calling me “partner” because of our arrangement in health class.

I love this second semester more and more.

      In completely unrelated news, I bought two Children’s Benadryl liquid bottle things from Wal-Mart. I always choose the children’s ones because they just taste better, and they work well for me. Bubble Gum is my flavor of choice.

Oh, and in case you were wondering what kind of grades this crazy girl gets: all As and Bs, and one D. and that D was in the driving part of driver’s ed. I suck at driving. lmao. i wouldn’t drive with me. So there, casual, recreational drug use does NOT impair the mind TOO much. But don’t do it everyday. Or even weekly. Bi-weekly, maybe, but I wouldn’t recommend it. And keep it to a safe level, just enough to get you a bit out there, not enough to… well… kill you.

So, all in all, be safe, have fun, and don’t take any of my advice from the paragraph above. I do not condone any sort of anything.
